Toyota 4Runner | Catalytic Converter Shield | 2003-2009

A catalytic converter shield for your 2003-2009 Toyota 4Runner. Crafted out of 1/4" 5052 aluminum making it an ideal cat theft deterrent and an off-road skid plate. It's an all-in-one design concept! This design boasts a heavy duty shield that runs from crossmember to crossmember with added attachments for additional catalytic converter protection. 

• Not compatible with the X-REAS suspension
• Fitment confirmed on 4x4 drivetrain
• Select the appropriate engine size prior to adding to your cart
• This plate bolts into factory holes and will work with the factory 4Runner engine skid plate.
• Button head Allen hardware included to replace the factory hardware.

• Offered in 1/4” bare aluminum and 3/16" powder coated steel
• Mounts into preexisting holes from the factory.
• Offers full coverage to the transmission. From the transmission cross member to the transfer case cross member. Also covers all the way to the frame rail on both sides.
• Easy bolt-in installation can be performed by anyone with basic hand tools.
• In some instances, there may be a tab on a preexisting OEM/TRD skid plate that will need to be bent slightly to allow the transmission shield to slide into place. This does not impact the integrity of either shield

Note: Ships as bare metal, may have some blemishes or marks on product when it arrives. Use care during install as some edges may be sharp. If your 4 Runner has a lift that modifies the subframe this plate will most likely not fit. The 5th generation and fourth-generation plates are not interchangeable. Ensure you have the correct generation and engine when ordering.
